![]() ![]() To prevent further issues, I decided to whitelist the logmein site, but found the free edition doesn't allow you to whitelist sites. So, I disabled my free Avast and it worked like it was supposed to so, I guess a recent definition or platform update has caused the problem. I tried IE to eliminate Chrome as the problem which also failed and gave the same error code. I didn't really think it was my AV because it worked fine the last time I had used it (about a month previous). I got a logmein error code 10054 which according to the responses of the logmein forums could be caused by the AV, a net monitoring program, or other unknown causes. I was prompted to enter my domain user name and password, but was unable to connect. I logged into the Logmein website as I've done on numerous occasions, selected my PC and clicked on connect. ![]() The other day, almost as soon as I got home, I got a help desk ticket that needed immediate attention. I use the free edition of Avast on my home PC (Windows 7 with Chrome as default browser). We currently use Logmein Central as our remote tool for access when we are out of the office, and we use Avast Enterprise edition as our company antivirus. Not really a question, but more of an observation.
